Conagra has launched Dolly Parton’s Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese, a frozen meal solution in a 76-oz format, along with Dolly’s Decadent Chocolate Pie and Dolly’s Original Whipped Cheesecake. The two desserts are ready to serve after thawing and require no baking.
Birds Eye debuted four new sauced microwaveable vegetable offerings: maple glazed carrots, teriyaki glazed green beans, garlic butter broccoli and garlic butter green beans. The brand also added a few family-sized potato options that are prepared in the microwave, such as garlic herb baby potatoes, cheesy potato casserole and loaded mashed potatoes.
Chef Boyardee is branching into the frozen aisle with its new line of Chef Boyardee Skillets. The convenient multi-serve meals include options like spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo and cheese ravioli.
Healthy Choice has launched four new better-for-you frozen meal options inspired by restaurant trends. The offerings include creamy chicken marinara with orzo pasta and seasoned broccoli, salsa verde chicken with brown rice and black beans, lemon parmesan chicken with a blend of grains and seasoned vegetables, and balsamic garlic steak with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes.
Blake’s introduced a series of convenient, protein-focused meals which feature a protein source and two sides. Varieties range from country fried chicken with roasted potatoes and green beans and barbecue seasoned pork with cheesy pasta and sweet corn to homestyle meatloaf with roasted potatoes and sweet corn and roasted chicken with cheesy rice and broccoli.
The Banquet brand has added two new varieties of Mega Crispy Chicken Filets, original and spicy, with improved breading flavor, according to the company. The Mega line also expanded its single-serve meal selection with chicken bacon alfredo, spicy chicken queso burrito and meatloaf products.
Alexia has expanded its Oven Roasters vegetables line with a parmesan truffle broccoli dish and balsamic brussels sprouts with carrots. The brand additionally launched two skillet vegetable varieties, brown butter green beans and hot honey carrots, which were designed to deliver contemporary flavors, according to the company.
Inspired by modern foodservice menus, Evol has released four new frozen meal options: hot honey chicken with roasted sweet potatoes and seasoned brussels sprouts; garlic herb steak with tri-cut potatoes and seasoned broccoli; chicken adobo with cilantro rice and elote-style corn; and homestyle meatballs and orzo with seasoned green beans.
The brand also debuted a new seafood pasta dish with the launch of garlic shrimp cavatappi.
Gluten-free snack brand Glutino has unveiled new sweet and savory offerings with reduced-sugar sandwich cookies and pretzels. The sandwich cookies contain 30% less sugar than Glutino’s original sandwich cookies and are available in flavors such as lemon pie, mint and Swiss Miss hot cocoa. New pretzel varieties include Vlasic dill pickle, honey mustard and birthday cake.
