Recent launches prioritize fan-favorite flavors.
Kraft Heinz sauce brand Heinz added two limited-edition sauces, black garlic ranch and harissa aioli. The brand tested six sauces in select restaurants last year and is bringing the two fan-favorite choices to shelves.
Pepperidge Farm, a subsidiary of the Campbell Soup Co., is launching spicy dill pickle-flavored Goldfish crackers after the company said it received many requests from fans. The limited-time offering is said to combine tangy dill pickle with spicy red chili peppers. The limited-edition flavor is available through the summer.
This new flavor addition comes on the heels of Goldfish announcing it is bringing back its Old Bay Seasoned crackers for another year, after they were first introduced in May 2022.
Reese’s, a brand from The Hershey Co., debuted a new limited-edition Jumbo Cup, which is the equivalent of four King Size Cups.
“There’s nothing quite like our iconic combination of chocolate and classic Reese’s peanut butter, so we’re making Reese’s fans dreams come true by quadrupling the size of our fan-favorite King Size Peanut Butter Cups,” said Melissa Blette, senior brand manager at Reese’s. “We’ve seen the passion that fans have for the brand, and we're excited to bring a new, larger cup for them to continue enjoying the chocolate and peanut butter goodness that only Reese’s peanut butter cups can provide.”
Spicy rolled tortilla chip brand Barcel added a new flavor, Takis Cobra. The new flavor, which has “the fiery intensity of a cobra,” is flavored with Worcestershire sauce.
Local Hive added a lineup of honey hot sauces. The line, which features honey sourced exclusively from American beekeepers, features seven flavors:
Insignia International, parent company of 505 Southwestern, La Tortilla Factory and Yucatan Guacamole, launched Tradición, a new line of corn and flour tortillas to its La Tortilla factory brand. The line includes five types of tortillas: fajita, soft yellow corn, soft white corn, burrito flour and soft taco flour.
“Insignia International is forging a new frontier of flavor in the Hispanic food space, and Tradición tortillas stand out among the competition,” said Adam Butler, chief executive officer of Insignia International. “These tortillas are complete and balanced with an uncomplicated intensity — you’d never know it takes such hard work to create something this simple.”
