Recent menu additions are preparing for Valentine’s Day.
Wendy’s expanded its morning menu with the introduction of a breakfast burrito. The burrito features two eggs, six strips of applewood-smoked bacon, seasoned breakfast potatoes and two slices of American cheese, all topped with a cheese sauce.
“With our new Breakfast Burrito, we’ve carefully balanced taste and convenience to create a portable masterpiece,” said John Li, global vice president of culinary innovation at The Wendy’s Co. “Our newest breakfast innovation serves up all the best parts of Wendy’s breakfast rolled up into one delicious burrito.”
Panera Bread added two sourdough melts to its menu. The bacon avocado melt features applewood-smoked bacon, avocado, smoked gouda, an everything bagel seasoning blend and chipotle aioli, while the Southwest chicken melt is made with smoked pulled chicken, smoked gouda, red onion, cilantro and chipotle aioli.
“At Panera, we pride ourselves on being the sandwich experts — and our team of chefs and bakers have taken our grilled cheese to new heights with melty new sandwich varieties that pack the perfect combination of flavors,” said Drayton Martin, senior vice president of brand building at Panera Bread.
Baskin-Robbins is bringing back its Love Potion #31 flavor, which features a combination of white chocolate and raspberry-flavored ice creams, raspberry-filled chocolate-flavored hearts, raspberry swirls and chocolate chips.
“Love Potion #31 has captured hearts for more than 20 years, and it continues to be one of our most requested seasonal scoops,” said Jeanne Bolger, director of culinary development for Baskin-Robbins.
Hardee’s is bringing back its heart-shaped biscuits for Valentine’s Day. From Feb. 1 through Feb. 14, Hardee’s will offer the heart-shaped biscuits on all breakfast sandwiches.
White Castle has released its first-ever Love Kit in celebration of the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday.
The Love Kit features 12 sliders (4 original sliders, 4 cheese sliders and 4 jalapeño cheese sliders), dill pickles, Valentine’s Day-themed slider boxes and a White Castle scented candle.
“The demand for in-Castle reservations on Valentine’s Day has started to exceed our capacity,” said Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle. “The new Love Kit is perfect for Cravers near and far to make memorable moments at their very own Love Castles.”
Taco Cabana is bringing back its Texas brisket menu, which features mesquite-smoked brisket in tacos, street tacos and breakfast tacos.
“It’s been several years since we served brisket and during that time, we consistently heard from guests asking us to bring it back to the TC menu,” said Ulyses Camacho, president and chief operating officer at Taco Cabana. “That wait is over. The TC team has worked tirelessly over the last year on innovating and developing this new brisket flavor profile.”
Cold Stone Creamery added fudge truffle ice cream and Mike’s Hot Honey ice cream flavors to its locations. The fudge truffle ice cream can be combined with brownies, fudge and whipped topping, and the Mike’s Hot Honey ice cream can be combined with brownies, pecans and Mike’s Hot Honey.
