Hillside Candy - GoOrganic, GoLightly
Hillside Candy offers products under the GoOrganic, GoLightly, Pick Your Color and Hillside Sweets brands.

DALLAS — Highland Partners, L.P., a private investment firm, has acquired Hillside Candy. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Hillside Candy is a Hillside, N.J.-based manufacturer and marketer of premium organic, sugar-free and traditional confection products under the GoOrganic, GoLightly, Pick Your Color and Hillside Sweets brands. Additionally, through its SQF Level 3 certified facility, Hillside manufactures premium products for customers in the nutraceutical industry and provides a variety of private label offerings. All Hillside products are manufactured in the United States with a focus on no artificial flavors, preservatives or colors. The company also holds organic, kosher and non-G.M.O. certifications.

Ted Cohen, president of Hillside Candy, will continue as president of the company.
