CONCORD, MASS. — Welch’s, an agricultural cooperative that is owned by 650 family farms, has promoted Christine Kwait from vice president of transformational innovation to chief research and development officer. Kwait joined the fruit-based food and beverage company in November 2020.
Before joining Welch’s, Kwait most recently was vice president of R&D innovation, product and portfolio management at Schwan’s Food Co.
Kwait also has worked with such companies as Kraft Foods, Oscar Mayer Foods and Kraft Foods, holding several research and development leadership positions.
