OAKLAND, CALIF. — Hodo is launching a line of protein tofu entrees in Thai red curry, Japanese teriyaki and Korean BBQ flavors.

“While sales of meat alternatives are flatlining, interest in tofu continues to grow as consumers gravitate towards plant-based foods that are healthy, minimally processed and taste great,” said Minh Tsai, founder and chief executive officer of Hodo.

The Thai red curry is formulated with coconut, ginger, lemongrass and curry;

The Japanese teriyaki blends umami and features sweet, savory and tangy flavors, according to the company; andthe Korean BBQ variety features sesame and ginger.

Each product has 17 grams of protein per serving, according to the company.

The protein entrees are available at Whole Foods Markets, Good Eggs, Misfits and Imperfect Foods nationwide.
