northlake, texas — Farmer Brothers has named Matthew Swenson as its vice president of coffee operations.

As vice president of coffee operations, Swenson will oversee the company’s green coffee procurement, research and development, coffee excellence, roasting and manufacturing, and coffee sustainability initiatives.

Before joining Farmer Brothers, Swenson was most recently director of coffee at Nestle for three years. He has held leadership positions at Chameleon Cold-Brew, most recently as chief product officer and previously director of US operations for Nobletree Coffee.
