PHILADELPHIA — Fila Manila, a company that formulates Filipino-inspired sauces, condiments and spreads, launched two all-natural spreads: Ube purple yam jam and coconut jam.
The Ube purple yam jam is formulated with Philippine Ube, an indigenous yam known for its purple color. The coconut jam is best for spreading on bread or desserts, according to the company. Both new products are gluten-free, dairy-free, peanut-free, as well as vegan.
The spreads carry a suggested retail price of $11.99 and may be purchased direct-to-consumer at filamanila.com, with select retail availability coming this summer.
