Beverage innovation is on the rise.

Truly Grass Fed is debuting its first beverage format with Truly Gluten Free milk. The drink is made from a base of oats, sunflower seeds, sea salt and filtered water. The company is launching the product in Original Oat Milk and Extra Creamy Oat Milk varieties.
“Thanks to Ireland’s temperate climate and strong rainfall, we get the highest quality oats with a delicious nutty flavor that makes our oat milk one-of-a-kind,” said Conor O'Donovan, general manager at Truly Grass Fed.
Elmhurst 1925, a maker of plant-based dairy products, has unveiled its Multi-Serve Latte line. The ready-to-drink lattes feature a blend of plant-based milks and Arabica cold brew coffee to provide 95 mgs of caffeine per serving. The beverages are clean label, free from gums, oils and added fillers and contain six grams of sugar or less per serving.
Elmhurst’s lattes are rolling out into Sprouts Farmers Market stores this month in maple walnut, pistachio crème, brown sugar oat, caramel cashew and toasted almond vanilla varieties.
“Because we use our smooth and creamy plant milks as a base, these lattes are as rich and flavorful as what you’d get at a coffee shop, without the gums, oils, and high sugar levels you’ll find in other ready-to-drink options,” said Heba Mahmoud, senior director of brand marketing and innovation at Elmhurst. “Plus, they’re super versatile when it comes to performance — sure, you can enjoy them over ice, but they also steam and foam beautifully for consumers who take their lattes hot.”
Asian street food-inspired brand Nona Lim is launching two new clean label product lines in celebration of its 10-year anniversary. The company’s instant noodle bowls feature freeze dried premium noodles and vegetables in a low-sodium broth with no added artificial flavors, preservatives or colors. Flavors include Fujian Shrimp, Yunnan Mushroom and Sichuan Spicy Mala.
Nona Lim’s Heat & Serve Ready Meals are designed as refrigerated and convenient small-batch meals for busy consumers. The versatile format is ready to eat after five minutes of reheating, with flavors like Filipino Pork Adobo and Singaporean Chicken Curry.
“Starting our journey with bone broth and now introducing a shelf-stable instant noodle soup bowl and entrees takes our brand into two additional formats, as well as two new grocery departments,” said Nona Lim, founder of the company. “We’re thrilled to continue our mission to bridge the diverse cultures of Asia and cultivate a healthier, more flavorful world.”
Organic Valley is prioritizing distinctive with its newest premium cheese line, Flavor Favorites. The cooperative’s new crafted cheeses launched in four options: Italian Herb Mozzarella Shreds, Spicy Cheddar Shreds, Spicy Cheddar Slices and Smoky Cheddar Slices.
The company described its Italian Herb Mozzarella Shred as “basil forward with a background of garlic and herbal zest complementing the clean, creamy mozzarella base.” Organic Valley’s Spicy Cheddar shreds and slices, meanwhile, feature habanero and paprika with “a family-friendly heat centered around a smooth and creamy cheddar.” And Smoky Cheddar Slices combine hickory-smoked sea salt with cheddar.
The Oatly Group AB is aiming to increase coffee occasions with four new flavored oat-based creamers. The beverage innovation is designed to provide a quick and easy infusion of sweetness to home coffee applications, with Sweet & Creamy, mocha, caramel and vanilla flavors.
“No matter consumers’ dietary preferences, it’s our hope that all coffee drinkers can agree with our belief that our new Oatly Creamers deliver superior taste and functionality,” said Leah Hoxie, senior vice president of innovation for Oatly North America.
