WOODLAND, CALIF. — PGP International, Inc. (PGPI) is launching Prolifica, a dry texturized pea protein range.
Containing 70% to 80% protein, the vegan-friendly ingredient range is non-GMO and allergy-friendly. The company is offering Prolifica in four product variations for protein and size to accommodate a range of applications, including plant-based burgers, meatballs, sausages, ground meat and meat extensions.
PGPI is part of ABF Ingredients, Peterborough, England, a division of London-based Associated British Foods PLC. It specializes in extruded ingredients, including cereal and protein crisps as well as rice-based flours and blends.
