Manufacturers are tapping into customization.
The Oatly Group AB is aiming to increase coffee occasions with four new flavored oat-based creamers. The beverage innovation is designed to provide a quick and easy infusion of sweetness to home coffee applications, with Sweet & Creamy, mocha, caramel and vanilla flavors.
“No matter consumers’ dietary preferences, it’s our hope that all coffee drinkers can agree with our belief that our new Oatly Creamers deliver superior taste and functionality,” said Leah Hoxie, senior vice president of innovation for Oatly North America.
Dunkin’ expanded its retail presence with the introduction of brownie batter creamer, inspired by the chain’s newest brownie batter donut.
Darigold, Inc. launched a line of clean label coffee creamers under the Belle brand. Formulated from five ingredients, the lactose-free product debuted in four flavors: vanilla, sweet cream, hazelnut latte and caramel.
Nestle’s Carnation brand added a new coffee creamer variety inspired by Spanish and Latin American café con leche. The creamer’s packaging uses both Spanish and English, and the company said it developed the product to bring a “smooth and velvety experience” to coffee and is available in a sweetened option and a zero-sugar option.
International Delight, a portfolio brand of Danone North America, has added a new creamer product. The company’s cold foam creamer aims to elevate the home coffee experience and provide a coffeeshop quality for at-home beverages by gradually mixing creamer into drinks with a foaming sensory experience, and is available in flavors like Sweet & Creamy, french vanilla and caramel macchiato.
SunOpta expanded its plant-based coffee creamer brand Sown with the addition of its Brown Sugar Organic Oat Creamer. The creamer is formulated from organic ingredients like hydrolyzed oats, cane sugar, and canola oil, along with natural flavors.
The brown sugar flavor joins the brand’s existing line that includes unsweetened, sweet and creamy, vanilla and salted caramel varieties.
Danone North America brand International Delight released two limited-time coffee creamers inspired by the popular Netflix series “Bridgerton.” The coffee creamers are available in Berries & Crème and English Toffee flavors.
“International Delight captures the attention of the next generation of coffee drinkers through unique, pop-culture-driven limited-time offerings,” said Kallie Goodwin, vice president of marketing for Danone North America’s coffee creamers business.
Nestle introduced its newest Coffee mate creamer variety, Eggo Waffles with maple syrup. The limited-time creamer was developed to deliver notes of waffles, maple syrup and butter.
“Coffee mate fans know that we’re dedicated to bringing new, sought-after and unexpected flavors to our limited-time offerings to add an exciting twist to their daily coffee routines,” said Leonardo Aizpuru, vice president of brand marketing for Nestle’s beverage division and business unit. “Breakfast flavors, particularly maple, are amongst the top requested — and as breakfast and coffee go hand-in-hand, we thought (there was) no better pairing than Coffee mate and Eggo. Nothing adds cheer to your coffee cup like a hint of nostalgia, fresh from the toaster.”
